The PROBLEM:
As a direct result of the recent revolutions in technology, most of the websites in existence today are not designed for the smaller screens of these devices, and not only that, many of them cannot be accessed at all, since the navigation menus may be positioned in such a way that they can’t even be seen or accessed when viewed on a handheld device. We will introduce what’s known as a “responsive framework” which simply means that instead of building multiple websites for each device (which is how it used to be done just a couple years ago believe it or not!) we will build your website using an architecture (or ‘framework’) that responds to whatever type of device or browser that it is being viewed on.
A responsive site has collapsible sections that can be resized and repositioned in different ways depending on the size of the screen. There are also font sizing issues, the navigation structure has to change, the columns have to reposition and realign and the images have to shrink without distorting. All of these things are taken into consideration when creating a responsive website.
